AdvisorCon Refund Policy

Your AdvisorCon 2026 registration includes entry to all standard conference sessions, networking events noted as included, conference materials, and designated meals/refreshments shown in the agenda. Third‑party activities, hotel, airfare, and personal expenses are not part of your registration fee.

Transfers (Recommended First Option)

If you can’t attend, you may transfer your registration to a colleague or another advisor at no additional charge. 

Deadlines:

  • Up to 7 calendar days before Day 1: Email us the new attendee’s full contact info, firm name, dietary needs, and any compliance requirements. We’ll update the badge and confirmations.
  • Within 7 days / Onsite: We’ll do our best. Badge reprint lines can get long—please be patient.

Pro Tip: Transferring your seat to a team member is the fastest and easiest way to protect your investment.

Credits Instead of Refunds

Because AdvisorCon requires long‑lead venue, food & beverage, A/V, and staffing commitments, all registrations are non‑refundable.

However, we recognize that circumstances beyond your control can arise. When approved, we will issue a non‑transferable, non‑cash credit equal to some or all of your paid registration (less previously applied promo codes, if any) to your BGM account.

Credits may be applied to:

  • Future AdvisorCon or other BGM live/virtual events.
  • BGM consulting, coaching, or training services.
  • Eligible BGM marketing content subscriptions or programs (e.g., Presence, eligible content libraries, or other current offerings—ask for details).

Credit Expiration: 12 months from date of issue unless otherwise stated in your approval notice.

Situations Eligible for Credit Review

Documentation is required for all requests. Examples include:

Travel delays affecting your primary residence or regional travel infrastructure

50–100% credit depending on severity.

Visa denial / passport emergency (international attendees)

Up to 100% credit.

Travel Disruptions: Weather, Airline, & Missed Flights

We know travel can get messy—especially in storm season. Here’s how we handle it:

1. Widespread, Severe Travel Disruption

If a major weather event (e.g., hurricanes, blizzards, airport shutdowns) or large‑scale airline operations failure prevents a significant number of registered attendees from reaching Nashville, BGM may extend a partial or full credit to affected registrants. We’ll announce guidance via email and on the event site if this occurs.

2. Individual Travel Issues

Delays, missed connections, or personal schedule conflicts that affect only a few attendees do not automatically qualify. You may still submit documentation (airline delay/cancellation notices). We evaluate case‑by‑case. Typical outcomes range from no credit to partial credit depending on timing, documentation, and whether you attempted to transfer your seat.

3. Late Arrival

If you arrive partway through the event, no credit is due. (Please still come! There’s a lot of value even on Day 2.)

Event Changes or Cancellation by BGM

If BGM must reschedule or cancel AdvisorCon 2026 (in whole or material part), we will automatically apply a 100% credit of your paid registration toward the rescheduled event or any other eligible BGM offering. If you cannot attend the new dates, you may reassign or redirect the credit within 12 months.

How to Request a Credit

Step 1: Email info@billgoodmarketing.com
Step 2: Include:

  • Registered attendee name(s)
  • Firm name
  • Original order/confirmation number
  • Reason you are unable to attend
  • Supporting documentation (PDF or image)
  • Whether you wish to transfer to another person instead

Deadline: Written request must be received no later than 11:59 PM Central Time the day before Day 1 of AdvisorCon 2026. If the emergency occurs during the event window, submit within 5 business days after the event concludes.

You will receive an acknowledgement within 3 business days; final determinations typically within 10 business days after we receive complete documentation.

Credit Terms & Use

  • Credits apply to the invoice total actually paid for AdvisorCon registration(s) after discounts.
  • Credits are non‑cash and non‑refundable.
  • Credits cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, gift cards, or unrelated third‑party products.

No Show Policy

If you do not attend and do not contact us in advance (or within 5 business days citing an emergency), no credit will be issued.

Hotel, Travel, & Third Party Costs

You are responsible for canceling hotel rooms, flights, ground transport, and any third‑party activity bookings directly with those providers. Their refund/credit policies may differ from ours. BGM is not responsible for those charges.

Accessibility & Special Needs

If a change in accessibility needs impacts your ability to attend, please contact us as early as possible. We’ll work with you on accommodations or alternative participation options; credit determinations follow the same review process.

Policy Changes

BGM may update this policy at any time. The version in effect on the date you submit a written credit request will govern that request. Updated terms will be posted on the AdvisorCon website and noted in attendee communications.
